Volunteer-operated observatory open to the public when skies are clear and a volunteer is available. Check website after 5 pm for availability. $3 donation.
• Kendall Planetarium – 1945 SE Water Ave.; 503-797-4610; www.omsi.edu/planetarium. OMSI’s planetarium is the largest and most technically advanced in the Pacific Northwest.
