International Education Exchange

AFS USA an International Exchange Student Program
Encouraging your son or daughter to explore another country through intercultural exchange might be your greatest gift to our world. With AFS you are supported by one of the most reputable study abroad organizations in the world.
Our history: AFS Intercultural Programs began as the American Field Service (AFS), which had its origins in 1914. Young Americans volunteered as ambulance drivers during World Wars I and II. Having witnessed the devastation of war, 250 AFS Drivers launched the student exchange program in 1947. The founding belief was that building a more just and peaceful world begins when people from different countries and cultures meet, learn together and better understand one another. That year, 50 students from 10 countries that had been involved in WWII arrived in the US, establishing a movement to promote understanding and peace through international student exchange.

Cedar Hills Kindergarten & Preschool
When you’re ready to send your little ones off to elementary school, you want them to feel confident and ready to tackle anything. That’s why choosing a preschool that nurtures the whole child  is an important first step. At Cedar Hills Kindergarten & Preschool, having fun and learning through play is the only required coursework.

CHKP is truly a child-centered school; kids interests help dictate the curriculum. That means no worksheets here–kids learn by doing, tasting, moving, feeling, and exploring the “old-fashioned way”. Parents are an important part of the classroom too, working alongside teachers to make sure every child is getting early literacy and critical thinking skills in a play-based environment.

So if your kiddos love watching butterflies hatch before their eyes and building clay castles with their hands, Cedar Hills Kindergarten and Preschool is the perfect place for them.
