The hubbub of events we’ve enjoyed all month is slowing a bit this weekend, but there are still some family-friendly activities to entice you out. Here are a few of our recommendations. Saturday

Sunday
Portland Art Museum Sundays for Families. Did you know the Portland Art Museum offers special family activities every Sunday? Today you can take a family tour at 12:30 pm, create art from recycled materials from 1 to 3 pm, and enjoy story time at 2:30 pm. All ages. Free with admission of $12 adults, $9 students. All Weekend
Winter Whale Watch Week. Trained volunteers help you spot and learn about migrating whales at 26 spots along the Oregon Coast. About 18,000 gray whales swim through from mid-Dec to mid-Jan.
