Science of Juggling. OMSI hosts our FAVORITE juggler, Rhys Thomas (among others), this weekend during its Science of Juggling celebration. Discover the fascinating science behind the ancient art of juggling. Thomas will present “Science Circus” three times each day at 11 am, 1 and 3 pm in the OMSI auditorium. Amazama Juggling School will be in the OMSI auditorium both days, 10 am to 5 pm. This event is included with paid museum admission: $11 adults, $9 ages 3 to 13. Sunday

Biglittlethings. You’ll find masks, illusion, music, dance, acrobatics, special effects, hitchhiking rabbits, insomniac hippos, polar bears on the loose and more in this fast-paced show for ages 3 and up. 7 pm Dec. 11 and Dec. 12; 2 pm Dec. 13. The Nutcracker. Oregon Ballet Theatre presents the holiday classic featuring Balanchine’s choreography, Tchaikovsky’s score and lush costumes and sets. Lake Bible Church in Lake Oswego (corner of Carman Dr. and Kruse Way) is having a Journey to Bethlehem Christmas program tonight and tomorrow night. Journey’s leave and travel through the building (all inside!!) every 15 minutes. It’s a fun way to hear and see the story of Christmas as told in the Bible. Friday from 6:30 – 8:30 pm and Saturday 4:30 – 8:30 pm.
