SPOTLIGHT: Providence Festival of Trees: This weekend we’re proud to be one of the sponsors of the Providence Festival of Trees (today and Saturday)! We hope you’ll join us to enjoy more than 100 lavishly decorated trees and some wonderful holiday entertainment. Look for Santa’s Workshop and a Teddy Bear Hospital, where kids 12 and under get a free teddy. Photos with Santa $5. Fun for all ages. 10 am to 9 pm Dec. 4; 10 am to 6 pm Dec. 5. $5 adults, $3 ages 3 to 12, free 2 and under. (Click here for a coupon for $1 off admission.)

Saturday
Milwaukie Umbrella Parade and Tree Lighting Parade starts at 4 pm at Portland Waldorf School, 2300 SE Harrison St. Tree lighting follows about 4:45 pm at Milwaukie City Hall, 10722 SE Main St. Free. 503-786-7568. www.cityofmilwaukie.org.

Holiday in the Grove Forest Grove celebrates the season with activities from 10 am to 5 pm and tree lighting at 5:30 pm. Most events are free. www.fgcityclub.com.

Heritage Holidays at McLoughlin House
