If you haven’t already donated to our Holiday Giving Campaign (and even if you have), we’re offering a little incentive to encourage you to contribute to one of our favorite charitable organizations.
Here’s the deal: Donate a minimum of $15 to Mercy Corps (feel free to donate more; it’s all deductible!) and you can claim one of the gifts listed below. Your money will go toward building a health clinic in an impoverished third world country, and Metro Parent will match your contribution!
These offers are on a first come, first served basis, so please name your three top choices. (We’ll get back to you if your preferred gifts have already been claimed and you can claim another, until they’re all gone.)
We KNOW times are tight this year, but we’re hoping this give-away offer will encourage to donate. After all, if you can cross an item off your gift list while donating, that’s a NO BRAINER, right? (And remember, we’re matching donations up to a total of $1,250.)
All you have to do click here, donate to Mercy Corps ($15 minimum suggested), then e-mail editor@metro-parent.com with your top three choices from the gifts below. If it hasn’t been claimed, it’s yours!
(PLEASE NOTE: You don’t have to leave a comment on the Mercy Corps site; just send us an email and let us know you donated.)
(All prices are manufacturer’s suggested retail prices.)
We’ll mail the following books and DVDs to those who claim them:
- A Charlie Brown Christmas (Book; $19.95)
- Can You See What I See? The Night Before Christmas by Walter Wick (Book; $13.99)
- The Mitten retold by Jim Aylesworth; illustrated by Barbara Mcclintock (Book; $16.95)
